The role
Nebius is seeking a talented Senior Insurance Manager to join our Risk Management team. The role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Nebius’ global insurance strategy. The role ensures that all company assets, operations, and contractual exposures are adequately protected through effective and efficient insurance programs.
This position plays a critical role in supporting the company’s rapid international expansion, particularly in relation to large-scale AI infrastructure and data center operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development, placement, and ongoing management of all corporate insurance policies.
- Identify, and assess risks across Nebius’ global assets and operations, with a focus on data center infrastructure
- Ensure that insurance coverage is comprehensive, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s evolving risk exposure
- Act as the primary point of contact for insurance brokers, insurers, and external advisors
- Map and manage insurance requirements across all jurisdictions in which Nebius operates
- Review and ensure compliance with insurance-related provisions in customer and key vendor contracts
- Oversee and manage insurance claims processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Provide expert guidance and act as the internal focal point for all insurance-related matters across departments
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the company’s insurance strategy in line with business expansion and industry developments
We expect you to have:
- At least 7 year of experience as a senior/lead insurance within a multinational organization.
- Strong expertise in structuring and managing complex global insurance programs
- Experience in infrastructure, energy, technology, or data center environments is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of international insurance markets, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border risk considerations.
- Proven experience working with brokers, insurers, and external advisors at a strategic level.
- Strong knowledge of contractual risk transfer and insurance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-growing, and international environment
